They are held together via a covenant. In this way they achieve immortality. Somehow Bayer survived WW2 and the destruction of Germany. Interesting. In fact, all of the German corporations survived. Now Bayer-Monsanto is one of the heads of this empire that we live under. They may change names but they are the same corporations. They may even change goals but they are the same corporations.
Likewise, the political/land mass empires can change names but notice how they stay the same? You can call it Russia, then call it the Soviet Union, then call it Russia again but it is always the same wherever you go. In a country like Russia, so vast, so rich in resources, can you think of a time, even a single day, when the people who lived in Russia were wealthy and had so much access to their own natural resources that they were the envy of the world? I can’t.
Whenever I think of Russia I think of hungry bitter oppressed people no matter who was supposedly in charge. Same thing with China. Same thing with the USA. The prosperity of the roaring 20s or the illusion of the "Happy Days" of the 1950 are just tropes and myths sold to us via the omnipresent magic lantern. Ask a veteran what he thought of the 1950s. Then ask Fonzi. Oh wait, Fonzi didn’t exist. Neither did Ritchie Cunningham. Martin Luther King existed for a short time but we can’t ask him either. Darn.
Today, the soil you stand on, no matter where it is on planet earth, is either an empire itself or it is being looted by an empire.
But whatever “country” [really empire] rules a land it seems that it always ends up being run by criminals, doesn’t it? Russia, China, the USA, name a country that is not run by criminals. Why is that a trend?
Because rules don’t apply to criminals! Cheaters have the advantage over honest people in that they cheat. Whereas honest folk don’t even think about cheating, cheaters think about cheating all the time! That is why we have courts.
You may think that courts are there to determine fairness or enforce laws.
You would be wrong.
Courts keep YOU from thinking about cheating.
