HOW TO ABUSE THE POWER OF SUGGESTION
#WeaponizedHypnotism
There once was a man who lacked confidence in his appearance.
A local rabbi noticed this and devised a plan. He called a town meeting of all the people and organized them together in the spirit of charity. After explaining the situation he got them to agree to a plan to help this man.
Starting next Tuesday, whenever they met him, they would all start complimenting him on his appearance.
On the Monday before the plan was initiated, he went to a thrift store and found an old ugly necktie that nobody wanted and bought it for a penny. The clerk was glad to get rid of it.
He walked over to the man’s house and knocked on the door. He introduced himself and the man let him in. He spent the next hour explaining the hidden art of Kabalah and offered him some advice. The man was confused but listened anyway.
He taught him “Comb your hair like this. Hold your head up like this when you walk. Smile and say good day to everyone you meet.” Simple things anyone could do.
Finally, he said, “Oh, I almost forgot the most important thing!” he pulled out the necktie, said an incantation over it, and handed it to him. He told him this particular necktie had been in his possession for 500 years and had the magical power to make people 'like' you regardless of how repulsive you really are. He said the incantation was just to recharge the charm. But there was one caveat. In order to keep the tie charged and happy, every time someone paid you a compliment you had to give him a nickel.
So the next morning the man woke up, combed his hair in the way the rabbi told him to, put on the tie, and went to town a bit skeptical about the outcome -but his curiosity eventually overpowered his reluctance.
Surprisingly, the first person he met was a young woman who smiled and said, “Hello.” He was so stunned that he did not reply.
The second person he met was a little boy who also said “Hi” and smiled a big grin while looking up at him. This time the man returned the greeting and clumsily fished a nickel out of his pocket. They boy exclaimed, “Thank you!” and ran off in joy to spend it.
As he continued through the town everyone was smiling, greeting him, and most of the people were complimenting him on how fine he looked. They also seemed to be very distracted by his necktie.
His intuition told him this can’t possibly be happening. “This is just a stupid old necktie. The wind is blowing through my hair all day so it can’t be the combing style that is causing this either. And yet it is happening.”
He was running low on nickels so he went to the bank to get some more. The teller was just as friendly and complimentary as the other people were today. He then went to the barber shop for a much needed haircut and a shave. After a spectacular day he finally ventured home.
Each day he combed his hair in that special way and put on the magic necktie and the results were the same. People started calling him by name and he thought he was making friends. And the children would all flock to him like pigeons to a wedding. He felt terrific handing out nickels and watching their eyes widen when he handed it to them.
The adults thought it a bit odd when he would hand them a nicked upon meeting them but they stayed with the plan and no one can really have too many nickels either.

[[[This is the conclusion of a story.
You would have figured it out but it would spoil the ending
Part 1 is here

At the end of the week the rabbi returned to the man’s house and asked to have his necktie returned. The man turned white and begged the rabbi to let him keep the tie.
The rabbi thought about it for a long time and finally reluctantly said, “I really don’t want to part with it but you seem to need it more than anyone… $100 plus tax.” The man instantly pulled $100 cash out of his sock drawer and tried to hand it to him.
The rabbi stepped back a step. He said, “Wait, there is one condition. You must convert to Judaism and attend synagogue every Sabbath with us.”
The man accepted and handed him the money. The rabbi took another step back and said, “Wait, there is one other condition.”
Yes? The man asked, “What is it? Name it. I cannot live without this tie!” the rabbi answered, “You must continue to give a nickel to everyone you meet or the spell will be broken forever.”
The man replied, “OK, it’s a deal!”
“Very well,” said the rabbi, “that will be $100.05 plus tax.”
The next week the rabbi saddled up his horse and rode to the next town with a synagogue in it.
While there he noticed a man who lacked confidence in his appearance.
...
Epilogue: The man with the ugly tie eventually became well known for his agreeableness and generosity. Eventually the town’s mayor died and there was an election called to replace him. Guess who the townspeople elected mayor by unanimous vote?
But the story doesn’t end there.
Shortly after learning of the election results the rabbi rode back into town…

Homework:
Next time you are in the parking lot,
Take a few steps and look back at your car.
Take a mental photograph.
Do this at every turn or change of direction.
Make sure you are in the present.
If a nation can remember how it got to where it is then it can turn back time and reverse its mistakes.
But if it is told by evil wizards that it cannot return and the nation believes the lie; then they truly are in the grip of a deep sorcery that will eventually destroy them.
The sorcerers can only control children #ChildEgoState.
Smashing your magic lanterns is the first step in recovery.
But there is no substitute for the protection and ingenuity of the Adult Ego State.
That is the second step.
After that you will know what to do by using your intuition.
You must find your #AdultEgoState
I cannot do this alone.
There are only 2 ways this can end…
and by far the main factor that will determine the outcome is the amount of adults present.
That’s it.
Too few adults and we all lose everything to the bad guys.
This is all about one issue.
Just one.
Repenting from foolishness.
My people are destroyed for lack of wisdom. Because thou hast rejected wisdom I will also reject all of you... Hosea 4:6
