IDENTIFYING THE KLEPTOCRACY IN PLAIN SIGHT
What is the opposite of virtue signaling?
Vice signaling?
Virtue signaling is where you pretend to be more righteous than you really are.
Then vice signaling is where you brag about how evil you are.
When you live in a kleptocracy and your world is run like an organized crime syndicate there should be clues, some subtle, some overt. But if you do not know enough to look for them you will never see them. They will seem like anomalies, distortions, freak glitches. But when you realize what they are you can then piece together a pattern much like a blind man can imagine an elephant by feeling its anatomy.
Here is just one peek behind the curtain that shows the world our leaders live in.
This is the world we never see but should be referring to as “reality.”
Many of us remember this video clip of Joe Biden bragging in front of the Council on Foreign Relations about how he had a prosecutor removed in 6 hours?
He said, "If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money."
Notice the way he talks.
He almost sounds like a Mafia Don after hours at an Italian restaurant in a scene from the Godfather bragging to his peers about how he extorted a victim into submission.
As he says it he feels no remorse or apprehension that such behavior is inappropriate. That is because he lives in a world of organized crime where such things are normal and even worthy of praise at how he handled it.
Notice how the audience chuckles after he says it?
He does not live in our world. Because he is constantly moving back and forth between the two worlds (as he becomes more senile he forgets which one he is in). When the cameras are rolling he is supposed to switch over to “civility” acting mode for the benefit of the public. But he forgets. What we are witnessing is “reality” and “ordinary” to him (and probably everyone else in the room). What we expect to see is the fable. But he was out of character.
How else can you explain his behavior?
“He told me no, so I told him ‘It sure would be a shame if something happened to such a beautiful taco stand tonight, eh Sully?’ and he suddenly found the extra $500 hidden under the cash register. Ha Ha Ha.”
It is not Joe who is deluded. It is us.
