LESSONS LEARNED
How I study the Bible and how Trump does it
I have met people who brag about how many times they have read the Bible cover to cover. Usually these people are the most ignorant of all. Know-it-alls are always blind. They poke their own eyes out with hubris.
Reading the bible is good. There is a lot of wisdom in it. The problem is with retention into our memory. The King James Version is particularly dry. It is also full of archaic words that have a way of camouflaging themselves from our understanding without us realizing it.
But while reading the Bible is good it is still better to understand it -otherwise you are wasting your time.
Each chapter has a lesson that can be learned (at least one). So what I do is write the lesson after each chapter. It is like a self-test to see if I comprehended what I just read.
God said (somewhere) that the scriptures are there for our edification (or growth into mature adult elohim). For instance, the third chapter of Genesis is all about how to respond to talking snakes. We live in a world full to the brim with talking snakes. AND we were warned repeatedly that the talking snakes would shape shift and become wolves in sheep’s clothing as history progressed.
So, the lesson I learned from Genesis chapter 3 is: Ask the snake why he is so adamant about persuading me to do something. Why does it have to be right now? Why does he care about my well-being so much? What is his motive?
If a snake asks you a question then why not ask him a question and make an afternoon of interrogating him? The lesson on Gen.3 is “Don’t be so trusting! Things are usually much more complicated than they seem to be at first glance. In fact, nothing is ever as it seems and nothing is uncomplicated.” Not here. Not on this planet. Only Children think like that.
So today I received an email from my bank.
It was a helpful email warning me about the rampant rise in phone scams. I know people who have fallen for these. They are usually elderly but not always. They are simply ignorant and overly trusting. The scammer uses the trick from Gen. 3 to rush them into a hasty decision. Notice that Eve never even asked the snake his name.
I am assuming that the increase in scam calls is a world-wide phenomenon. It is a good thing. It is a test of wisdom. The fools, as always are being culled of their savings. As the prophet once said, “A fool and his hair are soon parted.”
Here is what the email stated (verbatim):
Every day, thousands of people fall victim to fraudulent calls, texts, and emails from scammers pretending to be their bank. Unfortunately, the attitude consumers must have when it comes to these types of scams is not “if” this happens to me, but “when.”
No prevention software, AI detection, or behind-the-scenes monitoring is as good as your diligence in looking out for anything that seems suspicious. Here are five key steps to spot and avoid bank imposter scams:
Step 1: Do not rely on caller ID. Watch out for scammers who may be able to spoof a phone number so your caller ID reads “Stock Yards Bank.”
Step 2: Do not share private account information. Remember that Stock Yards Bank & Trust employees will never ask for your card numbers, PIN numbers, expiration dates, or other account information. This information should always be private and NEVER shared.Step 3: Be skeptical of urgency. Scammers often create a false sense of urgency to pressure you to act quickly and ignore your instincts. Ignore requests to send a payment to solve a problem. Stock Yards Bank & Trust employees will never ask you to send money to anyone – including yourself – to "reverse a transfer," "receive a refund," or anything similar. If a correction is needed, the bank has your account information.
Step 4: Ignore requests you did not initiate. If you receive a one-time access code to change a password or authorize a transaction you didn't initiate, do not use the code or share it with anyone, even if they claim to be from Stock Yards Bank & Trust. One-time access codes should never be shared.
Step 5: When in doubt, hang up and contact us directly. If you receive a suspicious phone call that seems like a bank imposter scam, hang up immediately. If you receive a suspicious text or email, do not respond. Contact Stock Yards Bank & Trust directly using a verified, legitimate source such as the phone number on your debit card, SYB.com, or the Stock Yards Bank & Trust Mobile App.
It is remarkable how similar the advice in this email is to the advice Eve could have used when confronted with the talking snake. Step 5 is to walk away. I would recommend step 6 is find a stick and beat the snake to a bloody pulp and wait for God to ask you why you did it. I wonder why Adam and Eve didn’t do that anyway. I would have. If someone tricks you out of your home and health insurance it should make your blood boil. Snakes are not that fast and he was out numbered 2 to 1. Never let a scoundrel get away to victimize someone else.
TRUMP WINS!
That surprised me since his opponents are experts are rigging elections. But there are 2 and 1/2 months between now and the actual coronation. A lot can happen.
No matter who won the election Zionism would inevitably win. Not just Trump but Vice Pres. Vance, RFK Jr, and literally everybody on both sides are rabid Zionists. There was no real change. If Trump dies another Zionist takes over in his place.
But the movie script is always the same. Get people excited, then disappointed, then excited again, the cycle is repeated. The critical psychological element is to dash people’s hopes. After a couple good hope-dashings people(children) will accept anything you offer them.
Trump the savior brought us Fauci and the Corona forced injection fiasco last time. Never forget that. If a man cannot be trusted to remain faithful to his wife 5 times in a row and cannot be faithful to his business contracts 6 times in a row then why would you expect him to not break a promise to you -2 times in a row. Yet America is celebrating the election of the talking snake (who kept reciting the story of the talking snake at his campaign rallies)!
Does anyone realize that Elon Musk’s companies are as non-profitable as GAB? Even more so. GAB has not survived well past its life by sucking up government handouts on its failures. Musk also has Trump’s impulsive mouth syndrome. It seems like all the incompetent braggarts are on the Trump train. Birds of a feather…
I am constantly ashamed and astonished at the stupidity of my species. Eve had an excuse. She was a child trapped in an adult’s body. We, on the other hand, have a bible and thousands of years of experience behind us. She couldn’t even read.
If people would write down the lessons learned from each failed election cycle they would see their errors plainly. But sub-clinical human amnesia is the real pandemic.
If someone truly honest ever won an election all previous elections would become the subjects of extreme mockery. We would all instantly realize how deceived we had been all these years. The whole world would change forever.
The key to their success today is that the snakes are separated from the humans by a glass screen: either a TV set, a computer, or a phone. We cannot ask them any questions like: “Why didn’t you fire Fauci? Why didn’t you build the wall or drain the swamp? Why did you call all patriots to D.C. on January 6th and then leave them hanging? Why did you pardon all those crooked Rabbis? Why are you a Zionist? Why are you orange? Why did you marry a trophy wife 50 years younger than you? In light of all this should we be worried about your moral integrity?”
Just like in the zoo the snakes are always behind glass. Only the “professionals” are allowed to interact with them (supposedly on your behalf).
How many people do you know that have actually touched a live snake?
