Most people fear a civil war because it is an abstraction.

They envision neighbors running around killing other neighbors that they never really liked, stepping over their corpses, and taking their stuff.

To them it is synonymous with general lawlessness, chaos and complete insecurity.

That is why the Controlled Op Influencers among us are inserting that term into their narrative of the imagined future more and more often.
That is how they are controlling your fears/pushing your phobia buttons.
This is how they get you to sit on your hands.

This is how they have managed to clobber you with atrocity after atrocity, and all the while you still sit on your hands playing the role of horrified observer.

Laughable when you think about it in those terms, isn't it?
