If you were fascist how would you know it?
Let’s take a test together and find out.
In our current mythology Mussolini (and Hitler) were the inventors of modern Fascism.
They bundled their industries with the government to create a more efficient state.
So how has our analogy changed?
The sticks are now corporations wrapped around the state which is the axe of military power?
I guess so.
The sticks alone are weak but wrapped tightly around the axe they make the hickory handle stronger, but at the same time they make the axe incapable of doing its job effectively? Ok. It is nonsense but let’s go with it for a minute.
So the government is a tool of the people (the axe).
It worked fine before the sticks made it clumsy.
Now the people can’t get a good grip on the government because the corporations are in the way.
Hmmm. That sounds about right.
But are the corporations weak?
Are American corporations truly American?
As far as I can see the only things that are truly American are us, the Americans.
These corporations are not weak.
They are stronger than the government.
And they have offices all around the world.
If a government dies they still continue.
In this new metaphor the sticks NEVER get thrown into the fire.
Here is proof of concept:
Maybe a better symbol of fascism would be a hog covered with leaches devouring a dog.
The hog is our government.
We are the dog, loyal but dead to the situation and currently having our bones picked clean.
And the leaches are the people whose ethnicity cannot be mentioned.
We live in a Fascist world.
Not just the USA but the WHOLE WORLD is fascist.
Fascism has long been sold to its people as a good thing.
The government regulates the corporations through bureaucracies such as the Environmental Protection Agency so that the corporations do not ravage and poison the environment.
It isn’t working is it?
There hare thousands of toxic waste sites all over the planet.
No one cleans them up.
Then there are Chernobyl and Fukushima.
I cannot make an exhaustive list, it is too overwhelming, and the recall of all the crimes would make anyone cry bitterly.
There is nothing wrong with Fascism.
It is just another form of government.
If it worked the way it was supposed to -most people would be quite happy living under it.
But it NEVER works the way it is supposed to.
Neither does Democracy, Republicanism, Monarchy, Communism, Libertarianism, or even Anarchy (sometimes called Volunteerism).
Terms like Communism, Fascism or Nazism are used as boogeymen to scare us to distraction.
Anything is better than THOSE forms of government, right?
Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know.
But we all live on fascist land right now.
The label doesn’t matter.
Your votes don’t matter.
The corporations rule.
And even worse, the crime syndicate rules the corporations.
The underworld of organized crime is not even depicted in the Fascii symbol.
How odd they managed to leave that out.

Enter Phillip K. Dick.
Phillip was a man who spent a lot of time contemplating his world. He lived during the cold war of the last century –what I call the “real old normal” (not the preCovid old normal). He knew he lived under Fascism. No, he did not live in Mussolini’s Italy. He lived in San Francisco.
What makes Dick the most excellent of writers is that he was a hypnotist.
He knew how to insert a message into a short story.
And he knew that he could get it past the censors by disguising it as fiction.

I am in awe of his ability.
It is very short.
But he manages to correlate metaphors in a way that many Israelis would envy.
This is how he managed to fly under the radar of the Fake Jews who, even at his time, like now, owned the publishing industry.

If you have never read Dick and this is your only exposure to him - then at least you will KNOW what went on inside his head and no one can lie to you about it.
He wrote many stories like this.
He was a one man propaganda mill.
You can almost hear his heart cry out to his people to “Wake Up!”
But he never once used the word Fascism.
He just lets you make up your own mind without you knowing you are doing it.
